Here are few ways you can be a part of the HW Community

Become a Docent: Becoming a docent does not require any prior expertise in architecture, history or museum work, but it does demand commitment and enthusiasm. Expand your horizons and meet energetic people with a common interest. Once you complete docent training, you will share your knowledge with visitors from all over the world!

Holiday and Event Opportunities:  Christmas on the Brazos is our event in December each year. We can use volunteers with the ticket table, concessions, runners, set-up, clean up, booths, children’s area, among other areas! 

Office Help: Assist with mail outs and delivery of event flyers.

Outdoor Help: We could use your help in planting, upkeep of the grounds, and assistance with other maintenance and landscaping as needed.
